Joanne FergusonI trained at LAMDA on the three year acting course. Whilst at LAMDA, I became very passionate about physical theatre, particularly Clown, taught by Mark Bell. Clowning explores the nature of comedy and helps discover your comic persona or ‘inner idiot’ using the red nose Clown as a starting point. I enjoy the works of Joe Penhall and Simon Stephens and I am very passionate about new writing. I also enjoy classical works, particularly Jacobean. Before moving to London to train at LAMDA, I worked as a professional singer. This is something I have continued to pursue since graduating and I now sing regularly with a soul band, gigging around London. |
