I’m a Londoner though have strong connections with the beautiful north where most of my family are from and lived in the midlands while at university. I am the oldest of five and started acting as a teenager performing at theatre festivals here and abroad....anything to get out the house! Despite the amazing three years I had socially at university, doing several plays a year, I decided I must get into drama school. I auditioned for a drama school scholarship and though was in the last three out of hundreds did not get it. Already struggling with university debt I begged and borrowed to accept the paid place offered to me and worked a full time job throughout drama school to afford it.
